A listing does not guarantee that any specific Practitioner will be the right fit for you, nor that any particular clinical outcome will result from working with them. You are encouraged to research any Practitioner you are considering, ask questions about their experience and approach, and trust your own discernment about whether the fit feels right.
How Soul Surfing designations work
Soul Surfing Trained: Psychedelic-Assisted Practitioner
Completed the Soul Surfing Foundational Training (including the asynchronous online course, live group consultation, and comprehensive client prep pathway) and a personal experiential. Trained in the model and has done the personal medicine work, but has not yet been clinically evaluated providing the model to a client. Professional field (Medical / Psychotherapy / Coaching) is shown on the listing.
Soul Surfing Certified Practitioner
All of the above, plus completion of the supervised certification protocol with one of their own clients and demonstrated proficiency in the core competencies. Fully credentialed to offer Soul Surfing within the scope of their field.
Soul Surfing Certified Consultant
A Certified Practitioner for 2+ years who has completed the Consultant track and had their core competencies evaluated and approved by Dr. Gold and the Soul Surfing Consultant body. Qualified to supervise trainees and provide consultation within their own field.
